What is the mechanism of action of Asimore?

Horse chestnuts appear to impair the action of platelets. It also inhibits a range of chemicals in blood, including cyclo-oxygenase, lipoxygenase and a range of prostaglandins and leukotrienes. This results in reduced inflammation, reduced blood pressure and also reduces swelling by constricting vessels of the venous system. Butcher’s broom is rich in flavonoids, antioxidants that strengthen blood vessels and reduce the fragility of capillaries. The substances appear to stimulate receptors in the body known as alpha-adrenergic receptors which cause veins to constrict.
